the Ivory Coast international didn’t feature against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night as the newly-crowned Premier League champions were soundly beaten 3-0 at The Hawthorns.
Less than 24 hours after that shock result, the Chelsea legend apparently headed to the exclusive French town to parties with the rich and famous amid the current Cannes Film Festival.
And the 37-year-old, affectionately nicknamed the Drog, managed to get a snap with US hip-hop artist Snoop Dog as the pair partied together in France.
Drogba posted the above photo and wrote: “Great to catch up with my big bro yesterday @snoopdogg in Cannes @viproom SN double O PEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Drogba is set to become a free agent at the end of the season after the expiration of his one-year deal with the west London side.

The African legend has scored four goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season, although the striker has started just seven top-flight games.
